Matrix warrants your product against any tech defect related to its components/software/user interface
when purchased directly from Matrix or its authorized reseller. This policy ensures you a trouble free and relaxed support system with clarity of operation. We request you to go through the below mentioned detailed version of the warranty policy.
THE TERM WARRANTY IS APPLICABLE IF
Product is for personal use
Product is under warranty period
Product purchase invoice/bill (tax paid) is available and shown during repair.
Warranty and serial number stickers are intact and not tampered.
Product is not opened/attempted to repair except Matrix authorized centers and its authorized engineer(s)
Products & their components are not damaged, burnt, rusted, water-logged, tampered, etc (or any non repairable condition) etc..
THE TERM WARRANTY CEASES IF
Any Remarking on product like mentioning date of sale on product etc.
Trying to modify actual product
Trying to tamper Matrix logo
Product is used for commercial purposes*
Resale of product after use etc.
Product is not used as per instructions mentioned or improper use of products determined by us
Product is placed at a site that is not recommended for operation
Some accessory assembled in a system which is not sold by Matrix authorized channel
Defects generated due to conditions/situation beyond control like lightening, surge/abnormal voltage, act of God etc
TYPES OF WARRANTY
DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA)
The duration of DOA is 15 days from the date of user purchase, As the name suggests product should be in dead condition means product does not turn on at the time operation. Users should submit such products to nearby Matrix with its intact packing/accessories and in brand new condition. Upon confirmation of defects from the service center, users will be allowed for a brand new replacement.
UNDER WARRANTY (UW)
The duration between DOA and out of warranty is known as under warranty duration
User can get their product treated from nearby service center for any tech defect
Under Warranty products are served in below mentioned manner
CARRY IN / IN-HOUSE/ RETURN TO BENCH SERVICES
User is required to visit nearby Matrix along with defective product
ONSITE /DOOR STEP SERVICES
Matrix engineers visits to customer place or seller place as per municipal limits and product category criteria to repair the product
OUT OF WARRANTY (OOW)
When the duration of warranty expires, the user can rectify the defect of the product under charges in this duration. Repair must be carried out at Matrix only.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
The terms of warranty are liable to change from time to time without any notice to customers as per market trends and management resolution.
Warranty is non transferable and shall not be considered in case of any resale
The warranty period starts from the first purchase of the product.
Commercial purposes means product is used to achieve commercial or financial goals.*
Such products will have 3 months of warranty only.
Products used in an office environment through which administrative or clerical types of activities conducted, does not fall under this category.
Matrix reserve the right to deny the repair of an outdated model in case of spare unavailability till further confirmation IN case of transportation damage/missing i.e. product(s) couriered by dealer/ end user to Matrix, we shall not be responsible for it and unable to serve such cases.
In the event of replacement, customer need to visit nearby Matrix with full product , its accessories with intact packing. Replacement at onsite not permitted.
Same color combination cannot be committed in the event of replacement. Customer will have to accept the replacement with available color combination in stock.
No DOA for onsite products. As per above mentioned condition
In the event of replacement, if same model is not available then equivalent value alternate model will be issued. Price of product will be referred as current market rate or user invoice rate, whichever is lower. If equivalent value alternate model not available, a different model will be issued with difference charges + GST
Out of warranty & Critical cases will be accepted for repairing only and under condition bases i.e. if the product can’t be repaired it will be returned back to customer.
Onsite warranty is applicable to selected pin codes only.
Some products are not warranted as per their category like some monitors are carrying 1 year in house warranty only. Please ensure warranty before purchase from our website
Matrix does not warrant the content, file, media etc stored into the product/device. Data recovery is not within the scope of Matrix limited warranty.
Matrix reserves the right to retain the defective spare removed from user product against the fresh spare placed by Matrix. It is for e waste recycling and due to environmental concerns.
Onsite products which does not carry onsite at customer (end user place), a customer can avail onsite services with visit charges
Charges as below
1 to 25 Kms – Rs.150/-
26 to 50 Kms – Rs.200/-
51 to 75 Kms – Rs.250/-
76 to 100 Kms – Rs.300/-
Distance will be calculated from Matrix pin code to user pin code via GOOGLE MAPS.
Any disputes arising out of the warranty shall be settled at the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY UNDER PRODUCT WARRANTY
Matrix is not responsible for damage arising from failure to following instructions relating to the
product’s usage.
This Limited Warranty applies only to the product manufactured by or for Matrix, that can be identified
by the “Matrix” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to it.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to any (a) Damage due to acts of nature or God, for example, lightning strikes, tornadoes and the like; (b) Negligence; (c) Commercial use; (d) Modifications to any part of the Product; (e) Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (f) Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Matrix or with improper voltage or power supply; In no event will Matrix India Private Limited be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if Matrix has been advised of the possibility of such damages. YOU AGREE THAT Matrix’s
LIABILITY IN ANY DISPUTE WILL BE LIABLE TO AN EXTENT OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE ORDER OR PRODUCT AT ISSUE.
Matrix will provide support services to ‘out of warranty’ products, provided the said products and spare parts are available in its inventory. In case of lack of availability due to the products/spare parts not being manufactured any more by Matrix (due to reasons attributable to advancement in technology, innovation, new product launch, etc.), Matrix, at its sole discretion, may offer to provide the customer with an upgraded product or a refurbished product. The cost of the upgraded product or a refurbished product, which is not negotiable, may vary from product to product and the customer will be required to bear the same.

***Some Monitors are coming with one year warranty also.
****While receiving product, if it is in very critical or non repairable condition; service center may try to repair it locally or can send to next level but if in case it can’t be repaired in natural condition (PCBA burnt/track damaged/rust etc.) then defective can be returned back to customer.
*Out of warranty product, once repaired from service center will carry 1 month warranty only.
